Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Perform residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance according to local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Blueprint Analysis: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and wiring requirements.
- System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults and system failures efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and inspect electrical tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical issues and provide professional solutions.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Journeyman Electrician license (or State Certified Apprentice with 2 years of experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Tools: Possession of a reliable set of hand tools and ability to pass a tool check.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
