Responsibilities
- Install and maintain high-voltage electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on complex electrical machinery and control systems
- Interpret blueprints and technical schematics for large-scale projects
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA and California Electrical Code standards
- Lead night shift teams during emergency outages and critical installations
- Document work using digital reporting systems and maintain compliance logs
- Collaborate with automation specialists on smart building integrations
Qualifications
- Valid California Electrician License (Journeyman or higher)
- Minimum 5 years commercial/industrial electrical experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification and NFPA 70E arc-flash training
- Proficiency with PLC systems and VFD troubleshooting
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong diagnostic skills with Fluke meters and oscilloscopes
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
