Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support experienced team members in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by gathering necessary tools, materials, and safety equipment before starting work.
- System Testing: Assist in testing electrical circuits and systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret and follow electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of electrical tools and equipment.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with clients to answer questions and provide updates on project progress.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred; equivalent experience in a trade is a plus.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of mathematics is helpful for calculating measurements and electrical loads.
- Attitude: A strong willingness to learn, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work well within a team.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
