Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, apparatus, and control equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical layouts.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently during night operations.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to prevent downtime and ensure safety compliance.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to document work orders and maintain accurate logs.
- Use handheld diagnostic tools and testing equipment to verify circuit integrity.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints and using electrical testing equipment.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environments.
