Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain pipe systems, fixtures, and appliances (water heaters, boilers, etc.).
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan installations.
- Perform quality inspections and ensure all work complies with local and state plumbing codes.
- Diagnose complex plumbing issues and provide accurate repair estimates to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical details in plain language.
- Assist in training junior staff and apprentices as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in commercial or residential plumbing.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) and work in confined spaces, on ladders, or in crawl spaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Current Journeyman or Master Plumber license (or equivalent state certification).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and emergency on-call shifts.
