Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure strict compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with senior electricians on complex projects and system upgrades
- Assist with new construction electrical wiring and circuit installations
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment
- Document work performed and maintain accurate project records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Willingness to complete paid apprenticeship program
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments (climbing, lifting)
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts (training provided)
- OSHA 10 certification within 90 days of hire
- Reliable transportation and punctual work ethic
