Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and circuit breakers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and panels.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Use hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and multimeters, safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including removing debris and organizing tools after each job.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure satisfaction and safety.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- A strong desire to learn the trade and a commitment to safety.
