Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or code violations.
- Utilize hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and multimeters, safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met.
- Keep work areas clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- No prior experience or formal training required; on-the-job training provided.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills and ability to read measurements.
- Physical stamina to stand, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at heights.
