Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and control equipment, in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout and wiring of electrical circuits and systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure all electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults and malfunctions, providing effective solutions.
- Ensure all work sites are clean, organized, and adhere to strict OSHA safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members regarding project timelines and technical requirements.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license in the State of Ohio.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
