Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and wiring in accordance with national and local electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine layouts and wiring sequences.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems efficiently, using appropriate testing equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and meets client expectations and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and any necessary adjustments.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (preferred) in DC or Ohio.
- Current OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuits, and wiring standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
