Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in commercial and residential settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan layouts.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to prevent future failures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to provide effective solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Pennsylvania Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the field.
- Driver's License: Valid, clean driver's license is mandatory for site travel.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints and using electrical testing equipment.
- Background: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Safety: Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and best practices.
