Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting, fixtures, and control equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and safety checks on electrical systems and components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to ensure optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with the project manager and team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Willingness to learn and obtain necessary journeyman certifications.
- Physically capable of performing the duties of the job, including lifting heavy materials and climbing ladders.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing schedules.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
