Responsibilities
- Perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and control equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate and code-compliant installation.
- Conduct thorough routine inspections and preventative maintenance to identify potential hazards or inefficiencies.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Collaborate closely with project managers and on-site supervisors to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls and weekend maintenance requests.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license required in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in both commercial and residential electrical work.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment, power tools, and hand tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues independently.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
