Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work on residential and commercial projects.
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to plan and execute electrical layouts accurately.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Test electrical systems and components using testing devices to ensure proper operation and safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, following all OSHA safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Document work completed and report any material shortages or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Tennessee Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Tools: Must possess a reliable set of hand and power tools.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuitry, wiring, and control systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients and team members.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) on a regular basis.
