Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems including wiring, fixtures, and control equipment
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications for residential/commercial projects
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using specialized testing equipment
- Supervise apprentices and junior electricians on complex projects
- Perform system upgrades and energy efficiency retrofits
- Document project progress and maintain accurate service records
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Electrician Journeyman or Master license
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with NEC code updates and safety protocols
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- Clean driving record and ability to operate service vehicles
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Excellent customer communication and time management
