Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of assignments
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain clean work sites
- Mentor junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia Electrician Journeyman or Master license
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong understanding of NEC, OSHA standards, and local building codes
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
