Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues using specialized testing equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete large-scale construction projects.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, wiring diagrams, and safety protocols.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy materials for extended periods.
