Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical layouts.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues using diagnostic tools.
- Communicate effectively with customers and project managers regarding progress and requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the State of Virginia.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and safety protocols.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools used in the electrical trade.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
