Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure all electrical systems are functioning safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining work and answering questions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification in the state of California.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuits, and systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
