Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and system failures.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on existing electrical infrastructure.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates.
- Assist in mentoring junior electricians and apprentices when necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician License in the state of California.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in electrical construction or maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights using ladders and scaffolding.
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
