Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematic drawings.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical systems.
- Collaborate with construction teams and other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
- Inspect electrical systems to identify faults and potential hazards.
- Prepare cost estimates for clients and manage material requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License for the State of New York.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in electrical installation and repair.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to work in various environments, including high-rise construction sites and residential interiors.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
