Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout and wiring of electrical circuits.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, or other components using hand tools and power tools.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project managers regarding progress and any on-site changes.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions (confined spaces, heights).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
