Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential properties
- Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical specifications
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes
- Diagnose electrical issues using advanced testing equipment
- Supervise junior electricians and coordinate project timelines
- Document all work performed with detailed reports and safety logs
- Conduct regular system inspections and preventative maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician License (Master/Journeyman)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on electrical experience
- OSHA 30 certification and CPR training
- Proficiency with conduit bending, transformers, and VFD systems
- Strong understanding of NEC and NYC Electrical Code
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
