Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup tasks
- Operate basic equipment including jackhammers, saws, and concrete mixers under supervision
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized, hazard-free job sites
- Read blueprints and execute construction tasks per project specifications
- Load/unload materials and equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Perform trenching, excavation, and earthmoving support duties
- Participate in scaffold setup, demolition, and structure assembly
- Document daily progress and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools or willingness to learn quickly
- Commitment to safety standards and team collaboration
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours daily with appropriate PPE
