Responsibilities
- Assist skilled carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on active construction sites
- Perform physical tasks including material handling, site cleanup, and debris removal
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision
- Follow safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Assist with trenching, excavation, and foundation preparation
- Participate in on-the-job training programs to develop technical skills
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred (not mandatory)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
