Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, equipment operation, and site preparation
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and stacking materials
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, adhering to safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Operate hand tools and basic machinery under supervision (e.g., saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Follow blueprints and instructions from site supervisors to ensure project accuracy
- Participate in site cleanup and waste management procedures
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with consistent attendance
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
