Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with daily construction tasks
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (e.g., drills, saws, shovels)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized storage areas
- Perform site cleanup and waste disposal to meet environmental standards
- Support skilled trades with layout, measurement, and material handling
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Team player with strong communication skills
