Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and skilled tradespeople on active construction sites
- Load/unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA safety standards
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision
- Prepare sites by digging trenches, clearing debris, and setting up barriers
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving materials
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and site cleanup duties
Qualifications
- No construction experience required - training provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety protocols
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counting
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Mesa metro area
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
