Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Safely operate hand/power tools under supervision (saws, drills, etc.)
- Perform cleanup duties including debris removal and waste management
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment following OSHA standards
- Follow detailed instructions from site supervisors and lead carpenters
- Participate in team-based construction tasks with a positive attitude
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Must be physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds and standing for extended periods
- Valid driver's license preferred (not mandatory)
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Milwaukee County
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Basic math skills for material measurements
