Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting, and moving materials
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with project setup
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (e.g., saws, drills)
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and follow OSHA safety protocols
- Load/unload construction equipment and materials safely
- Assist in erecting temporary structures and scaffolding
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks
- Report safety hazards and operational concerns promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to instructions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours daily
