Responsibilities
- Execute physical labor tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled trades with site preparation, demolition, and cleanup operations
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Maintain organized job sites through material staging and waste management
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) under supervision
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines efficiently
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or equivalent physical work background
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather
- Basic understanding of construction terminology and blueprint reading
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero tolerance for tardiness
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
