Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and tradespeople with material handling, equipment operation, and site preparation
- Perform physically demanding tasks including excavation, demolition, and debris removal
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Operate hand/power tools safely (e.g., saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Read basic blueprints and follow supervisor instructions for task execution
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction/labor experience or relevant trade training
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform sustained physical work in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training available if needed)
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Strong work ethic with punctual attendance and team collaboration mindset
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to work evenings/weekends based on project demands
