Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including material handling and site preparation
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely using proper lifting techniques
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with OSHA safety standards
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (hammers, saws, drills)
- Perform physical tasks: digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials
- Set up and remove temporary safety barriers and scaffolding
- Follow project plans and verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Participate in daily team briefings and safety meetings
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – training provided
- Must be 18+ years old and eligible to work in the US
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license preferred (not mandatory)
- Willingness to work outdoors in Texas weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Houston
- Commitment to safety and punctuality
