Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with daily construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and tools efficiently
- Perform basic carpentry, concrete work, and demolition under supervision
- Read and interpret simple construction plans and blueprints
- Operate hand/power tools and machinery safely
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work in outdoor environments and inclement weather
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions precisely
