Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including material handling and equipment setup
- Perform excavation, demolition, and debris removal tasks
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (e.g., saws, drills, levels)
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Support skilled trades with material delivery and basic construction tasks
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Participate in team briefings and daily progress meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and P compliance
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Sacramento area
- Physical stamina to stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn construction fundamentals
