Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up materials
- Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks like excavation, concrete pouring, and framing
- Operate basic equipment safely under supervision (forklifts, jackhammers)
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following OSHA standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions from site supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
