Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (hammers, shovels, saws, etc.)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job site storage
- Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, carrying, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and dispose of waste properly
- Participate in team-based construction projects with a positive attitude
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided!
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely in team settings
