Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation
- Perform physically demanding tasks including digging, lifting, and debris removal
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to strict safety protocols
- Operate hand/power tools under direct supervision (hammers, saws, drills)
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Support concrete work, framing, and finishing operations as needed
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10-hour certification (provided)
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Raleigh metro area
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
