Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA standards
- Perform excavation, demolition, and site cleanup tasks
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions
- Participate in scaffold setup, concrete pouring, and framing support
- Report hazards and safety concerns to site supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for material measurement
- Ability to follow safety protocols and work in a team
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
