Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand/power tools safely under supervision (hammers, saws, drills)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Participate in scaffold setup/teardown and temporary structure assembly
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and debris removal
- Adhere to project timelines and supervisor instructions
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and perform strenuous physical labor
- Valid California driver's license (preferred but not mandatory)
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Commitment to workplace safety and following OSHA guidelines
- Reliable transportation to job sites across LA County
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
