Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople on construction sites
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing tools, and moving materials
- Operate basic equipment (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain inventory
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Complete minor demolition and site cleanup tasks
- Report equipment issues and maintenance needs to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Charlotte metro
- No experience required – training provided
