Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespersons with site preparation, material handling, and basic construction tasks
- Operate hand tools and power equipment under supervision (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols
- Read and interpret simple construction plans and instructions
- Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, carrying, and digging
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company guidelines
- Participate in team-based projects with clear communication and collaboration
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical fitness assessment
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counting
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (8+ hours/day)
- Pass background check and drug screening
