Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with demolition, excavation, and site preparation tasks
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Operate hand tools and power tools under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and plans
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
- Transport materials and debris using carts, dollies, and forklifts
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California driver's license (Class C)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measuring and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout SF Bay Area
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred (we provide training)
