Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including digging, lifting, and material handling
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris and organizing tools/materials
- Operate basic equipment like shovels, wheelbarrows, and power tools under supervision
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Load/unload construction materials and transport to designated areas
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Perform general site maintenance and cleanup duties
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
