Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials (up to 50 lbs), and operating hand tools
- Maintain a safe work environment by following OSHA guidelines and wearing proper PPE
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions from supervisors
- Support demolition, framing, concrete pouring, and finishing tasks as assigned
- Transport materials and equipment using carts, dollies, or forklifts (training provided)
- Adhere to project timelines and collaborate effectively with team members
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we train everyone!
- Must be physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting heavy objects for extended periods
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality – reliability is key
- Basic math skills for measuring and counting materials
- Willingness to attend paid safety certifications (OSHA 10-hour included)
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
