Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and project specifications
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and operating hand/power tools
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations under supervision
- Complete daily progress reports and communicate project updates to foremen
- Participate in mandatory safety training and equipment certifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across El Paso County
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
