Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including excavation, framing, and finishing
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery under supervision
- Prepare job sites by moving materials, clearing debris, and setting up equipment
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Load/unload construction materials and deliver to designated locations
- Participate in daily team briefings and contribute to project goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team
