Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely and effectively under supervision
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and job site regulations
- Maintain organized job sites by sorting materials and removing debris
- Support concrete, framing, and finishing tasks as assigned
- Complete daily equipment checks and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
