Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Safely operate hand tools (hammers, saws, drills) and basic equipment (concrete mixers, jackhammers)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Support skilled tradespeople with tasks like framing, demolition, and cleanup
- Perform general labor duties including debris removal and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- No experience required – open to career changers and recent graduates
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid California Driver's License (preferred but not mandatory)
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions and variable weather
