Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (e.g., shovels, wheelbarrows, saws)
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Load/unload construction materials and deliver to designated work areas
- Participate in team-based projects to meet daily production goals
- Report equipment issues or safety concerns to site supervisors immediately
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Basic math and communication skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
- Flexible availability including early mornings and overtime
